SAP Specialist
Basildon
6-month contract
Paying up to £55p/h (Inside IR35)
Responsibilities:
* Operates as the subject matter expert in SAP Production Planning provides professional advice and makes recommendations to support business queries and requirements definition
* To self sufficiently, design and develop business / process enhancing solutions within SAP
* To deliver early life support for new solutions
* To support established in-house developed solutions
* To add value to existing business processes / procedures by improving efficiency and effectiveness
* Assist in the management of third party and internal suppliers
* Provide early life support for new Business Solutions
* Provide support for data migration projects as and when required
* Deliver projects from design to completion to achieve required business outputs
Experience required:
* Influencing and negotiating with key project stakeholders, using data and analysis to support reasoning
* Be able to challenge / respond to challenges on process issues
* Working with business experts and technical resources to facilitate incident & problem resolution
* Prioritise work and time to deliver solutions to incidents, problems, change requests and projects meeting Service Level Agreements
* Co-ordinate and supervise the activities of team members
* Take ownership of and solve more complex technical problems and issues within own specialty
