Overview
Technical Partners are currently looking for experienced Compex Electrical Installation Engineers to support ongoing project delivery across multiple Southern sites in the UK. Working as part of a site delivery team, you will carry out electrical installation activities within hazardous and industrial environments, ensuring all works are completed safely and in accordance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out industrial electrical installations in hazardous area environments
* Install containment systems (tray, trunking, conduit, cable ladder)
* Install and terminate SWA, SY, CY, and instrumentation cabling
* Install motors, control panels, junction boxes, field devices, and associated equipment
* Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
* Conduct testing, inspection, and fault finding where required
* Work in line with COMPEX, ATEX, and site HSE procedures
* Complete works to a high standard within project timescales
Requirements
* Valid COMPEX 01-04 certification (essential)
* NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Electrical qualification
* ECS / JIB Gold Card
* Industrial installation experience essential
* Previous experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Process, or Renewables sectors preferred
* Strong understanding of hazardous area working practices
* IPAF and PASMA advantageous
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
