Job Description:
Role is part-time: about 24 hours per week (opportunity to increase the hours if desired by the candidate)
Location: site based at our Birmingham office (parking onsite)
Purpose
Customer service role (70%), with elements of facilities management administration (30%).
To provide customer service support for UK customers, coordinate the UK equipment repair business, and support the UK Service centre facilities management team.
We seek a candidate with prior experience in customer service and/or facilities management, excellent communication skills, and a professional appearance. Teamwork and cooperation are desirable. The role is part-time with flexible days, to be discussed at interview.
Responsibilities include:
* Direct communication with end customers.
* Uphold all EHS practices of the SEF.
* Coordinate the UK repair service business.
* Process quotations and customer orders in XPPS (Brain).
* Organize delivery of repaired items.
* Support planning of service activities in the UK Service Centre Workshop.
* Manage UK spares stock, including re-ordering as needed.
* Coordinate with Giessen customer services team.
* Manage facility administration for the UK Service Centre.
* Organize supplier visits for compliance (fire alarm, legionella, pest control, security).
* Order office supplies.
* Coordinate with Accounts Payable regarding invoices.
Requirements:
* Experience in customer service.
* Experience with administration is an advantage.
* Good communication skills and professional appearance.
* Attention to detail.
* Well-organized and able to manage projects.
* Team player, proactive, self-starter.
