Based in offices overlooking St James' Park, you will be part of a close-knit subscriptions marketing team. You should be naturally cheerful, outgoing, proactive and able to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist our subscriptions marketing specialists in building and executing digital marketing communications, including data selection and tracking campaign results
* Plan and execute in-magazine marketing material, working closely with the editorial and design teams
* Liaise with our in-house subscriptions, digital and customer service teams to ensure processes (automated and manual) run efficiently and according to brief
* Handle the Spectator Shop, ensuring products are appropriate and well marketed, and the online user experience is world class
* Occasionally help with manning our Spectator Shop stand at live events, and assist with setting up livestream feeds of these events
* Streamline other areas of fulfilment of third revenue initiatives, e.g. processing and dispatching shop orders, facilitating orders through a new book shop
* Assist with the operation of the Spectator Club, including execution of communications to subscribers
* Assist with customer service during surge periods (usually limited to promotional windows throughout the year)
* Be the go-to person for ad hoc tasks that need executing by the subscriptions team
Requirements
Key Skills and Knowledge
* An aptitude for digital products and an understanding of the fundamentals of subscriptions marketing
* Degree level qualification, ideally with a relevant marketing qualification
* Strong command of English with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work to strict deadlines and manage and prioritise many tasks at once
* Ability to work and thrive in a multi-tasked, fast-paced environment on your own and within a team
* Analytical and methodical approach with high attention to detail and numeracy; a passion for excellence
* Keen interest in politics and current affairs (advantage)
* Excellent skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Previous experience with software such as Google Analytics, WordPress, ESPs or CRM tools (beneficial)
* Role based 5 days in the office
* Can-do attitude and lots of enthusiasm
