I Holland Limited is a leading global manufacturer of precision tooling, used in the production of tablets. Selling to over 100 countries worldwide and to the multi-national pharmaceutical companies we have a reputation as the class leader in tabletting science.

This is a fantastic apprenticeship opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to work within a dynamic engineering company based in Long Eaton.

Working as part of the sales administration team, you will learn all aspects of sales order processing from compiling quotation information through to processing the order into production, helping to deliver excellence of customer service well beyond the actual sale.

Duties may include the following:

· Providing timely and accurate quotations and supporting information to customers

· Collating all necessary information, drawings and correspondence

· Co-ordinating all activities between agents and customers

· Entering orders accurately onto the computer system and facilitating the supply of customer samples/drawings

· Storing and archiving all information according to procedure

· Providing ongoing support to all customers

Skills Required:

· Strong numeracy and literacy skills

· Fully competent with Microsoft Packages, particularly Excel and Word

· Excellent attention to detail especially when entering data into systems

· Good communication skills, both written and verbal

· Well organised and able to work on own initiative on occasion

· Ability to work well as part of a team

· Good time and attendance

Essential qualifications:

GCSE in:

* English (grade 9-4)
* Maths (grade 9-4)

Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Things to consider:

· Applicants must be able to travel daily to site (Long Eaton), punctually and reliably and be willing to study and achieve the qualification detailed above.

· A smart and professional image is required for this role.

Training schedule:

* The successful apprentice will attend college, once a month on a Monday, at our City Hub Campus.
* You will be assigned an assessor who will set tasks and mark them throughout the course
* You will attend one-to-one meetings with the assessor/employer periodically to track progress and identify areas for improvement
* End point assessments include project presentation, remote portfolio interview and knowledge test
* This apprenticeship is work-based learning. Therefore, most of the time you will be working at the employer's address
* Business Administration Level 3 )
* Functional Skills if required
