The Role As our Managed Services Pre-Sales Architect/Consultant, you are the technical heartbeat of the sales cycle. You’ll be the primary technical point of contact for qualifying opportunities, ensuring every solution we propose is not just "sold," but is technically viable, robust, and future-proof. You won’t just be behind a screen. You’ll be a champion for knowledge—coaching our sales teams, collaborating with Engineering and Projects, and engaging directly with clients to scope out their digital transformation. Key Responsibilities * Technical Sales Support: Act as the subject matter expert, providing guidance to ensure all solutions meet our high standards of viability. * Opportunity Qualification: Identify technical blockers early and develop creative strategies to overcome them throughout the sales cycle. * Client Engagement: Lead technical discussions in customer meetings (virtual and face-to-face), translating complex "tech-speak" into clear business outcomes. * Knowledge Leadership: Drive product education across the department, identifying training gaps and mentoring the wider sales team. * Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Sales, Account Management, and Delivery teams to ensure a seamless "onboarding" experience for every client. * Market Awareness: Keep your finger on the pulse of the industry, scouting new products and solutions that keep Global 4 ahead of the curve. What We’re Looking For * The Experience: Proven background in technical pre-sales, solution consulting, or sales engineering (ideally within an MSP). * The Tech Stack: Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, Networking, Security, and Voice/UC solutions. * The Communicator: You can present to stakeholders of all levels, making the complex feel simple. * The Problem Solver: A natural ability to deduce creative solutions from vague requirements. * The Credentials: Vendor certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, Sophos, Cisco) are highly desirable. * The Mindset: A deep understanding of Managed Services and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends.
