Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic and responsible Health Visitor SCPHN to work within our new 0 - 19 Growing well, Growing Healthy Service in Stockton.
We are a skill mixed team with three teams aligned to geographical areas across Stockton. We are passionate about staffing to enhance the service we deliver. We have designated teams for infant feeding, healthy weight and SEND. These roles help us to collectively improve the health outcomes for children and young people living in Stockton.
We work in partnership with Midwives, Early Help, Children’s Services, Public Health and Acute Services. We are a friendly, professional and supportive team. We keep in touch with regular team huddles over MS Teams, we have work buddies and there is always someone to call on if you need support. New team members are supported through induction, training, shadowing and a preceptorship package tailored to your individual needs.
Responsibilities
* 4-6 weekly supervision with Line Manager and Safeguarding Team
* Monthly Preceptorship/ Peer Supervision
* Appraisal in the first 3 months of the role and then annual
Your professional development and opportunities for learning will be explored through supervision with your line manager.
