Job Title: Women’s Woven Designer
Location: London
Join an exciting and fast-paced London-based fashion company with a reputation for creating standout collections across womenswear. We’re looking for a talented Women’s Woven Designer to bring a fresh, feminine, and creative handwriting to our clients team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop trend-led woven collections across categories, with a focus on feminine and girly handwriting.
* Create detailed design packs including embellishments, embroidery, appliqué, cut work, and surface decoration.
* Work closely with Indian factories and suppliers, ensuring high-quality sampling, workmanship, and timely delivery.
* Design with versatility to meet the needs of value, mid-market, and higher-end customers, understanding how to tailor product handwriting accordingly.
* Conduct trend, fabric, and market research to inspire and develop innovative designs.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams, ensuring designs are both commercially viable and creative.
* Present ranges to internal stakeholders and contribute to seasonal strategy and product development.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience as a Women’s Woven Designer (minimum 3 years, preferably with UK/European retailers or suppliers).
* A strong feminine/girly design handwriting, with proven experience across embellished, embroidered, and detailed woven product.
* Demonstrated experience working with Indian factories and an understanding of their capabilities.
* Strong trend awareness with the ability to design across multiple market levels (value, mid, and higher-end).
* Excellent CAD, Photoshop/Illustrator, and technical drawing skills.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate and creative design packs.
* Proactive, passionate, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
