Project Secretariat Team Leader – STORMONT – HYBRID
Pay Rate: £19.59 per hour

Requirements: 5 GCSE’S C and Above (Including Maths and English), 2 A Levels, A Degree

Duties include but not limited to: Support the development of the Executive’s response to recommendations arising from the Covid-19 Inquiry Module 2 report. Drafting policy advice in relation to issues arising from the Covid-19 pandemic. 2. Develop and implement a Post Covid-19 Inquiry file review.
To include…
1. A systematic audit of all Covid-19 Inquiry related digital files and physical documents.
2. Liaise with DSO legal advisers and Counsel to seek advice on Inquiry related matters.
3. Support the process for providing information in relation to any requests for information from the Covid-19 Inquiry.
4. Draft responses to Inquiry related queries including FOI, AQs and CORRs.
5. Draft and provide input to submissions, updates and reports to senior management and Ministers as appropriate.
6. Participate in (support?) Covid Inquiry cross departmental working group and activities.
7. To support and assist the DP and Branch Manager to oversee the department’s provision of evidence to the UK Covid-19 Inquiry, including the drafting of materials to support the provision of evidence documents to the Inquiry.
8. Line management responsibilities.
9. In busy periods help colleagues with delivery of reports and meetings.
Essential Experience & Requirements:
STAFF OFFICER – a degree with a minimum of 12 months’ experience
10. Ability to interpret complex evidence and draw reasoned conclusions; · Skilled in identifying risks, inconsistencies, and gaps in information
11. Experience in applying legal or procedural frameworks to sensitive issues
12. Stakeholder Management experience including proven ability to build trust across departments and organisations
13. Clear, concise, and professional writing for briefings, reports, and correspondence
14. Confident in presenting findings and recommendations to senior officials; · Strong organisational skills to manage multiple workstreams
15. Open to new ways of working and committed to continuous improvement
16. Willing to share insights and embed learning across teams and organisations.
17. Staff management experience including ability to manage own and others resilience.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Experience in Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement.
Resilience and flexibility. The nature of the team’s work means there are busy periods ahead of report publication and set piece meetings. The ideal candidate is someone willing to be flexible and who is a recognised team player.
