Location: Harlaw Academy, Aberdeen
Duration: Fixed Term, Full Time
Roles requiring PVG Membership:
Starting from 1 April 2023, roles that require PVG membership will require candidates to cover the cost, which will be deducted from the first full month's salary. This applies to roles with a full-time equivalent salary of £30,000 or above, including teaching roles and jobs at Grade 11 and above (currently £30,285 per annum / £16.64 per hour).
The Council will initially pay the PVG membership fee, which is £18 for existing PVG scheme members or £59 for non-members.
Job Purpose/About the Role:
To deliver quality education to assigned pupils and contribute to the professional and community life of the school in accordance with SNCT agreements.
Minimum Requirements:
* Appropriate teaching qualification
* Full GTC (Scotland) registration or eligibility for registration
* PVG scheme membership - Working with Children
Demonstrable Skills:
* Standard for Full Registration (see link)
