We have an exciting, opportunity for a Clinical Administrator/Receptionist to join our small, administrative team. The role As Clinical Administrator/Receptionist, you will assist the Prosthetists, Orthotists and Department Managers in the provision of prostheses, orthoses and associated equipment to service users. You will also support the reception team to carry our patient facing duties. Key duties: Responding to telephone, email and in-person enquiries in a confidential, professional, and helpful manner always. Booking appointments. Booking patients into the appropriate clinics. Liaising with transport providers to book patient transport. Providing and receiving confidential client-sensitive information to/from statutory and non-statutory bodies. Liaising with the Prosthetists, Orthotists, NHS colleagues to ensure a quality service is provided. Triaging patient telephone calls and managing the requests in an auditable and efficient manner. Registering patient referrals utilising NHS systems. Ensuring all goods received for the service are processed in a timely fashion, any action required is administered. Monitoring outstanding goods and collections, updating reports. Assisting in management reports and data collection, including 18wk referral pathway in line with KPI target. Providing excellent customer care and always demonstrating positive and professional behaviour. What are we looking for? As Clinical Administrator/Receptionist, you will have the following. Key skills GCSE Maths and English Previous administration experience within a customer service environment. Data entry experience. Practically minded and methodical Highly organised. Attention to detail. Team player. Self-motivated. Flexible attitude to colleagues and work. Friendly manner when dealing with people. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
