Electrical Engineer – Deeside / Chester Area – Days – Automation/Controls/PLCs £49-56k + Quarterly Bonus Scheme + 10% Employer Pension Contribution + Private Medical = £57-68k package + annual salary review Samuel Frank is recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to a join a globally recognised manufacturing company with a large base in the Deeside / Chester area. Key aspects of the Electrical Engineer position include – * Knowledge of PLCs, controls & automation. Whilst the Electrical Engineer won’t be programming PLCs, knowledge of them and how they work and their coded is a key element of the role * Lead a small team including an Electrical Supervisor and two Electrical Technicians * Minimum qualification of HNC, ideally time served and must have “hands on” experience/background * Knowledge of AC/DC inverter drives * Hydraulics and pneumatics experience – desirable, not essential * An Electrical Engineer looking to further themselves and looking to gain Chartered status will be considered favourably (and will be supported in doing so by the business) * The role will be primarily office based (75%) as well as working on the shopfloor (25%) * You will receive regular, specialist training on current and emerging technologies, an annual salary review, 10% employer pension contribution and a range of staff discounts with some major UK brands. ...
