Iconic Resourcing is working in partnership with a leading law firm to recruit a Real Estate Finance Paralegal to join their high-performing team. Based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow with hybrid working on offer, this is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of varied, high-quality work and play a key role in delivering first-class client service.
The Role
You’ll be a crucial part of the Real Estate Finance team, supporting lawyers across a broad range of finance transactions. From title reviews and loan documentation to drafting legal documents and managing key parts of the transaction process, this is a fast-paced and rewarding role with real responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, review, and report on key transaction documents including leases, dispositions, loan agreements, standard securities and other security documentation
* Examine and report on titles (Land Register and Sasine)
* Assist with the preparation and review of certificates of title
* Draft and review board minutes, corporate authorisations, and discharges of standard securities
* Order and review searches and attend to property registrations
* Collate and manage conditions precedent, keeping clients informed throughout the transaction
* Carry out post-settlement administration and deal with general queries
* Maintain files and ensure timely, accurate completion of work in line with service levels
What We’re Looking For
* A qualified Paralegal (real estate finance) or an experienced legal professional with a strong background in this area
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills – articulate, clear and client-focused
* Confidence to manage your own workload and contribute effectively to a collaborative team
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
* A client-focused mindset with a willingness to go the extra mile
