Radiotherapy Senior Radiographer

Shifts: Service is open from 08:00-20:00

As a Senior Radiographer, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe, accurate, and high-quality radiotherapy treatments. Working across both treatment and pre-treatment areas, you’ll ensure patients receive the best possible care throughout their journey. You’ll also support junior staff, contribute to service development, and occasionally deputise for team leaders.
Duties & responsibilities:
1. Deliver accurate radiotherapy treatments and planning scans
2. Operate advanced radiotherapy equipment and systems (e.g., ARIA, Mosaiq)
3. Ensure compliance with IR(ME)R and HCA policies
4. Support training and mentoring of new staff and students
5. Contribute to quality assurance, incident reporting, and service improvement
6. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
7. Rotate through all areas of the department, including shift and bank holiday work

What you will bring:
8. BSc or DCR in Radiotherapy
9. HCPC registration
10. Minimum 18 months’ radiotherapy experience
11. Experience with advanced techniques (e.g., DIBH, SABR, AlignRT)
12. Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
