Minimum Requirement:
* Candidates must be willing to undertake Home Office Personal safety training once they are in post – it’s a 2 day course.
* Would be great if we could home in on people who aren’t necessarily PIP 2 but either have significant investigative experience or offender management experience.
* Ex probation/ ex police staff who have done similar roles.
* Recent and in-depth experience managing high-risk offenders, ideally within an asylum or criminal justice setting.
* Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and offender management frameworks.
* Proven ability to work effectively within MAPPA and other multi-agency environments.
* Experience delivering tailored interventions and rehabilitation plans.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive and complex cases.
* Ability to work independently, remotely, and under pressure.
* High level of integrity and commitment to public service values.
Desirable skills and experience:
* Knowledge of asylum processes and immigration legislation.
* Experience working with vulnerable populations, including those with mental health needs.
