Trade and Project Management Specialist

This full-time position combines critical responsibilities in Global Trade compliance and operations with project management skills. The role involves developing strategies, managing projects, and supporting experienced Programme Managers.
The ideal candidate will have prior import/export experience, preferably in aerospace or defence. Strong record management skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate and auditable import records; provide clearance instructions; manage copy entries, amendments, and freight forwarder charges.
* Conduct audits; manage quarterly filings with HMRC; discharge IPR; support scrap processes.
* Manage export licences, applications, and end-user controls.
* Produce export documentation; manage SAP export transactions; clear export blocks; book shipments; ensure compliance with licence/end-user checks.
* Maintain accurate records for MK Denial checks, travel permits, site visits, and tech data transfers.
* Deploy and track Global Trade policies and procedures.
* Support annual audits, self-audits, and regulatory inspections (ECJU, HMRC, etc.).
