Description
Due to continued growth, a manufacturing company based in Kendal is looking to recruit an ambitious and experienced Management Accountant to join the team. You will report to the FC and take a leading part in the development of the team members as well as identifying process and procedure improvements.
A summary of duties will include:
* Responsible for the preparation of the Group consolidated management accounts.
* Budget preparation and cash flow forecasting.
* Preparation of monthly management accounts including full commentary and analysis.
* To take lead of the year-end audit.
* Management of a small team.
* Other ad hoc project work as required by the business.
Ideally, a manufacturing background would be preferred but is not essential. What is more important is a 'can do' attitude and a desire to take ownership and develop this position. In return, my client offers 25 days holiday, pension, company bonus, as well as a potential study package if required.
