What will you be doing?
All NQSWs will undertake the ASYE, a structured program to help you transition into your role with mentorship, training, and skill-building opportunities.
* Manage a caseload of children and young people requiring social work support
* Work alongside experienced social workers on complex cases
* Conduct assessments, visit children and families, and carry out direct work
* Develop and review care plans prioritising children’s best interests
About you
To join our ASYE program as an NQSW, you must be:
* Degree-qualified in Social Work (undergraduate or postgraduate)
* In your final year of study, awaiting results, or recently qualified
* Passionate about improving children and families' lives
* Able to work under pressure with strong organisational skills
* In the process of obtaining your Social Work England registration
* Able to drive and have access to a vehicle or actively learning to do so
* Have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
* Able to speak fluent English
* Enhanced DBS clearance and SW England registration required
