Brand Communications Manager
This is a 12-month FTC position.

Role Overview
Responsible for the brand strategy for specific brands or a set of brands across all brand communications. Ensure the brand is recognisable, current and exciting to customers. Manage communication for banners (B&Q, Screwfix, Castorama, etc.) and support commercial performance.
Responsibilities
* Plan communication activities for range reviews using inputs from product category strategy, brand growth plan, and banner marketing activities, incorporating group insights, competitor benchmarking, and sales data.
* Develop an ideal brand message that resonates with target customers and aligns with the value proposition of the offer.
* Work closely with brand managers and creative teams to develop a strong brand image.
* Communicate the brand promise to customers across all required touchpoints.
* Ensure all on-brand communication for banners drives commercial performance.
Qualifications
* Experience working in a product brand communication role.
* Proven capability in creating and delivering communication plans.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to translate complex concepts into simple, intuitive briefs.
* Cross‑functional stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
* Strong project management skills.
* Creative perspective to bring ideas to product positioning and brand content.
* Ability to thrive in a matrixed, always‑on environment across multiple time zones and teams.
