Are you a patient, dedicated and skilled SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new role? A welcoming primary school in Hartlepool is seeking a committed 1:1 SEND TA to support a pupil with complex needs from January 2026.
Start Date: January 2026
Location: Hartlepool
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Providing focused 1:1 support for a pupil with complex SEND needs
* Assisting with personal care routines and mobility support
* Supporting learning, engagement and social development throughout the school day
* Working collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support team
* Helping to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working with children with SEND, ideally on a 1:1 basis
* Confident supporting personal care and mobility needs
* Calm, empathetic and able to build positive, trusting relationships
* Relevant SEND or TA qualifications welcomed
* Flexible, proactive and a strong team player with good communication skills
