Teaching Assistant – Primary SEND
About the Role
We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning within a specialist alternative education setting. This role involves delivering planned learning activities and interventions while supporting pupils with SEMH needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver learning activities to individuals or small groups.
2. Support pupils with academic and emotional development.
3. Assist with behaviour management and classroom routines.
4. Work closely with teaching staff to support lesson delivery.
5. Contribute to pupil progress monitoring.
Skills & Experience
6. TA status or equivalent experience.
7. Strong understanding of SEMH and behaviour support.
8. Confident, calm and adaptable approach.
9. Commitment to inclusive education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
