Position – Marketing Assistant Full-time (37.5 hours per week Mon-Fri)
Location – Office-based: Chesterfield, Derbyshire
Salary - Up to £25,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Position overview:
You'll be supported by the Marketing Director and the Marketing Coordinator to help develop our company brand, launch new products and ranges and share our company story with the Healthcare Simulation community.
As the Marketing Assistant at Sim & Skills you'll experience all aspects of marketing including writing copy, creating content in our purpose-built studio, working on live events and supporting the development of the website.
About you:
You've got some marketing experience and you're ready to take your next step.
A marketing degree or a marketing apprenticeship is a bonus, but we're much more interested in your creativity, ideas and your desire to learn and develop your skills.
You're organised, care about the quality of your work and put the customer at the heart of your creative decisions.
You're excited by the big changes happening in marketing and are intrigued by the possibilities of AI.
You'll have some experience of using design tools such as Canva, email marketing software and web page development tools.
Key responsibilities:
This is a junior position and you will be given all the support you need to develop your skills.
* Copywriting
Write engaging copy for socials that does so much more than simple product promotion. Can you get to the heart of our customers' needs and explain why our products offer the best solutions?
Can you tell the story of our company journey and make customers want to be a part of it?
* Content Creation
Film and edit short product videos in our purpose-built studio. Create visual assets including LinkedIn carousels, product guides, branded images and the odd meme here and there.
* Website development
Working with our SEO agency, you'll create product content and copy to help guide our customers to the best skills trainers and simulators.
You'll be keen to learn how AI is changing the organic search landscape.
* Events Marketing
Support the smooth running of live events, conferences and online webinars.
* Customer research
Understand the customer buying journey. Gather customer insights through online meetings and onsite visits.
* Product knowledge
Attend product training to develop an understanding of key product ranges.

Qualifications
* Either a marketing degree (or similar creative degree) or a marketing apprenticeship or 12 months of marketing experience.
* Experience of writing copy for social media, blog posts or email marketing.
* Confident working independently but know when to reach out for help and support.
* Understand the need for accuracy and attention to detail.
* Comfortable using design platforms such as Canva and editing tools like CapCut, Clipchamp or iMovie.
* Adaptable, agile and ready to dive into the world of a rapidly growing company.
* Confident speaking to customers and building vital relationships with fellow team members, suppliers and agencies.
General:
* Complies with and enforces all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures both at Sim & Skills Ltd and whenever representing Sim & Skills Ltd (i.e., customer sites, trade shows, etc.).
* Perform all duties in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
* Maintain security of all proprietary information.
* Perform other duties as assigned or as necessity dictates.
