This housing association have gone from strength over 2025, with no signs of slowing down. This role is going to be a fundamental role for this organisation to shape their digital future and improve their customer experience.
In this role you will be:
* Lead and manage the Applications team, ensuring high‑quality delivery, effective workload allocation, and adherence to agreed deadlines.
* Oversee and maintain key business‑critical systems, including the Housing Management System (NEC Northgate) and the repairs scheduling and planning platform (Dynamic Resource Scheduler).
* Drive application development and system improvements, delivering new software implementations, system enhancements, and integrations aligned to business needs.
* Act as the primary liaison for external consultants and contractors, providing direction, oversight, and quality assurance on application‑related projects.
* Ensure efficient and reliable management information and reporting by maintaining the data warehouse, guaranteeing timely, accurate, and accessible data.
To be successful in applying for this position, you will need the following:
* Experience of developing or improving NEC Housing management systems
* A background working on data preparation and data warehouse projects
* Knowledge of SQL, Business intelligence methodologies and a familiarity with scripting and programming
* A focus on team leadership skills, being able to communicate effectively with your team but also with senior leadership
* Previous experience working in a customer focused role would be advantageous
* Ideally you will have experience working for a housing association

* Up to £51,500 for the right individual
* Hybrid working: 1 or 2 days a week on site (Cardiff)
* 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
