Lead high-performing production teams in a fast-paced FMCG food manufacturing environment. The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading production teams while ensuring operational targets are delivered safely and efficiently. Lead, develop and motivate production teams to deliver strong performance across safety, quality, delivery and cost. Ensure production plans are delivered efficiently, maximising yield while minimising downtime and waste. Communicate clear departmental targets and ensure processes align with company policies and operational standards. Coach and support Team Leaders and junior managers to build capability and strengthen leadership across the department. Work closely with the Planning team to ensure labour levels and resources align with production requirements. Monitor and manage operational performance using KPIs, driving continuous improvement initiatives across the department. Maintain strong GMP standards through regular auditing, feedback and corrective actions. Build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operational delivery. Operating within a modern food production site, this role combines production leadership, operational delivery and continuous improvement. You will work closely with planning, technical and engineering teams to maximise efficiency, minimise waste and ensure products consistently meet the highest standards.
