This vacancy is for a Director of Strategic Land, to be based in the Bath office, focused on opportunities in the South West of England. This new role will increase the capacity and capability of the development team, enabling the Duchy to accelerate its strategic land opportunities and unlock further housing solutions across the Estate. The Role: Reporting to the Executive Director of Development, the Strategic Land Director will be integral to the Senior Leadership team, helping to shape the forward strategy and business plan for the strategic land portfolio, then overseeing its delivery over the coming years, promoting sites through the planning process, negotiating consents and S106 agreements and negotiating contracts with trusted development partners. The Strategic Land Director will take complete ownership of the portfolio, working closely with the Duchy’s Head of Planning. The Strategic Land Director will be supported by a new Head of Commercial Finance, who has been brought in to support the wider Duchy team on financial modelling and viability assessments. They will also have the support of a team administrator. Who Should Apply?
