Job Description:
We have a new opportunity for Brain Injury Support Workers to join a new client in Bath, working 24 or 48 hour shifts with a sleeping night (details of the days required TBC).
Following a road traffic accident, our male client has a severe brain injury with cognitive and mobility issues. He is extremely intelligent but enjoys spending time on his computer, so we are seeking proactive support workers to encourage him to be active and go out - he enjoys comedy club and cricket!
Key Responsibilities:
* Engaging with personalised routines.
* Assisting with physiotherapy programme.
* Providing emotional support and companionship.
* Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
* Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work the specified hours.
* Supportive and friendly working environment.
* Opportunities for professional development and training.
* Regular supervisions and Check Ins.
* Both online and In-person training.
An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
