Pre-Sales Solution Consultant

A leading SME digital consultancy delivering cloud migration, digital transformation, and user-centred design across public, private, and third sector organisations are looking for a Pre-Sales Solution Architect to bridge Sales, Technical Delivery, and clients.
You'll translate complex challenges into clear, deliverable solutions, lead workshops, shape proposals, and support winning bids—all while guiding the handover to delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead pre-sales workshops and design sprints to uncover client challenges and opportunities
Translate complex business requirements into practical, technically credible solutions
Produce high-quality proposals, presentations, and technical documentation for clients and C-suite executives
Lead technical responses for bids, tenders, and capability statements that win business
Collaborate closely with Sales, Delivery, and commercial teams to create realistic, deliverable solutions
Support smooth transition from pre-sales into active project delivery
Contribute ideas for service innovation, process improvement, and emerging technology adoption
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience designing end-to-end technical solutions in customer-facing roles
Strong understanding of UK public sector delivery, procurement, and digital standards
Familiarity with agile delivery, cloud platforms, enterprise architecture, and user-centred design principles
Track record of writing winning bids, proposals, and capability statements
Skilled at facilitating workshops, design sprints, and collaborative client sessions
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work across commercial, technical, and delivery teams to align client needs with delivery capability
You will come from a similar consultancy background, with a solid blend of experience across technical design and commercial engagement into both public & private sector clients.
