SMMA has an opportunity for a Senior HVAC Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of experience. This position offers the ability to lead a range of multiple design project types, and requires a good balance of leadership, technical, communication, and organizational skills.
Our Engineering team is a part of an integrated, multidisciplinary design firm with a dynamic mix of architects and engineers. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide multiple projects leadership from concept design through construction administration phases in a range of project types.
* Demonstrate experience with a range of system types and an interest in continuing to learn.
* Guide and mentor junior team members through project design phases.
* Represent the firm in client meetings and marketing pursuits.
Qualifications:
* 10+ years of experience in HVAC systems design and leading design projects
* PE is required
* Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, Load Calculation Programs, MS Office
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
