About the Role
Health and Safety Administrator – join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team based in Plymouth. KierBAM is a Joint Venture between Kier and Bam Nuttall, delivering the redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site in Plymouth.
Eligibility & Requirements
* Security Clearance: BPSS clearance is required; process may take up to 8 weeks.
* Residency: Hold a passport from an EU, NATO, Five Eyes, or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.
* Location: Devonport Royal Dockyard, Plymouth. Occasional working from home may be arranged locally.
* Hours: 42.5 hours per week.
* Legal Notice: We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship.
* Additional Clearance: You will also be required to complete a Government Security Check (SC) Clearance conducted by the Cabinet Office.

Responsibilities
* Daily administrative support to the Health & Safety team – scheduling, document control, ensuring procedures are followed.
* Collect, manage and analyse H&S data from site activities, inspections and incident reports to support performance reporting and KPI tracking.
* Maintain accurate records of audits, permits, training, toolbox talks and statutory documentation such as RAMS and certifications.
* Assist with incident investigations, monitor compliance with inductions and site access, and identify trends and risks for continuous improvement.
* Liaise with project teams, contractors and stakeholders to communicate H&S data and support special projects or H&S Coordinator duties as needed.
Qualifications
* Administrative experience in a supporting role.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety.
* Excellent IT skills – Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Experience working in a high‑pressure environment.
* Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
