Location: South Wales
Salary: £41,000 rising to £45,000 + Shift Allowance + Premium Overtime + Bonuses
Hours: Monday to Friday – 3-Shift Pattern (Earlies / Afternoons / Nights)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

We’re now seeking two Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to join the team as the business continues to expand.

The Role
As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability and uptime across fast-paced production lines.
Key responsibilities include:

Reactive Maintenance: Respond quickly to breakdowns and diagnose mechanical faults.
*
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Carry out scheduled maintenance to maximise equipment reliability.
*
Equipment Support: Assist with installation, modification, and improvement of mechanical systems.
*
Continuous Improvement: Work collaboratively with production teams to enhance safety, efficiency, and performance.
*
Team Collaboration: Support, train, and coach operators to reduce downtime.
The Person
We’re open to candidates with a range of experience — whether you’re already an established Maintenance Technician or an ambitious engineer ready to take the next step.
Essential:
*
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a Mechanical Engineering discipline
*
Hands-on mechanical experience with fault finding and maintenance
*
Background in a production or manufacturing environment
*
Proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
Desirable:
*
FMCG or high-speed manufacturing experience
*
Exposure to electrical systems (advantageous but not essential)
