SEN Inclusion Room Supervisor - Secondary School - Kettering

Pay: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)
Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs in a focused, nurturing environment? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Inclusion Room Supervisor to join a progressive secondary school in the Kettering area.
This is a rewarding full-time role ideal for someone with experience in behaviour support, inclusion, or special educational needs, looking to make a meaningful difference in a structured setting.
The Role:
As the Inclusion Room Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a designated space where students with additional needs or those requiring short-term intervention can receive targeted support away from the main classroom. You will work closely with the SENCo, behaviour team, and teaching staff to ensure students are supported academically and emotionally, and are reintegrated into lessons when ready.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support students referred to the inclusion room for behavioural, emotional or SEN-related reasons
Deliver and manage learning activities in line with school expectations
Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
Liaise with SEN and pastoral teams to support student progress
Maintain a calm, structured and respectful environment conducive to learning
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with secondary-aged students, particularly those with SEN or behavioural needs
A calm, consistent and empathetic approach to managing behaviour
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider pastoral/SEN team
A commitment to inclusion and helping every student reach their potential
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
