Salary: GBP55,000 : GBP65,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role:
An established roofing contractor based in Bedford is seeking an Estimator to join their experienced pre construction team. The role involves pricing and managing refurbishment flat roofing projects across both the commercial and residential sectors, with project values typically ranging from GBP25,000 to GBP2 million.
Youll be working alongside a knowledgeable and supportive estimating team, contributing to the companys continued growth and success in delivering high:quality roofing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate and competitive tenders for flat roofing refurbishment projects
* Conduct site visits, take:offs, and material assessments as required
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clarity and consistency in all costings
* Assist with project handovers to the contracts team upon award
* Maintain an up:to:date knowledge of industry standards, materials, and installation techniques
About You:
* 2:5 years experience within the flat roofing sector (preferably refurbishment focused)
* Proven track record in estimating for commercial and/or residential projects
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software (experience with any roofing:specific packages advantageous)
