Job Title: Assistant Manager – Complex Modelling / Forecasting Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Function: Finance Location: Hybrid – Bristol, Gloucester or Edinburgh Salary: From £35200 excellent benefits Closing Date: 27 March 2026 How you’ll make a difference You’ll play an important role in strengthening TSB’s forecasting and modelling capability during a period of significant transformation. Working within the Commercial Finance Modelling team, you’ll help maintain, enhance and develop analytical models that support planning, strategic insight and business decision-making. This role is essential to the successful delivery of TSB’s annual Financial Medium-Term Planning (MTP) process, ensuring our long-term forecasts, assumptions and modelling frameworks are robust, well-controlled and clearly evidenced. You’ll shape how data and modelling tools are used across the function, improve process efficiency, and help the team embed new forecasting methods ahead of the wider transition to Santander systems and processes. What you’ll bring: Strong data analytics skills, ideally with experience handling large datasets and modelling drivers. Ability to learn new systems quickly and help embed improved forecasting processes. A proactive, solution-focused mindset with confidence in diagnosing issues, identifying root causes and driving independent resolution. Strong attention to detail and willingness to improve documentation, controls and governance. Experience or interest in Oracle Planning, SmartView, and modern reporting/automation tools such as Power BI, Power Pivot and Power Automate. Ability to work flexibly across different forecasting and reporting areas as priorities evolve. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across Finance and related teams. Selection process There will be a 30‑minute informal, exploratory conversation with the Hiring Manager followed by a structured interview via Teams with the Hiring Manager plus another panel member.
