* Greeting patients attending for phlebotomy and Clinical Haematology Clinics
* Attending, departing and making appointments for Clinic Patients using IPM (LE2.2)
* Taking receipt of samples brought down by wards/departments and taking them into the laboratory areas
User Helpline
* Answering general enquiries, such as bottle types, test turnaround times.
* Forwarding calls to laboratory and medical staff
* Adding tests onto a sample received using the laboratory computer system.
Call Centre
* Making appointments for patients to have a blood test in the department.
Report distribution
* Posting out reports to wards/departments/community settings.
