Complex Care Assistant
DE14 area of Burton on Trent
At the request of our client, we require females only for this role.
Pay Rate:
1. £15.01 per hour on weekdays
2. £18.27 per hour on weekends
3. £22.52 per hour on bank holidays
4. Weekly Pay & accrual of holiday pay at 12.7% of your gross pay
Shift Pattern:
5. Currently expanding but care is required predominantly in the evenings (including school pick-ups until bedtime) and at night (wake-in), as well as some mornings for school travel also
Prestige Nursing & Care Leicestershire are looking for caring and reliable Complex Care Assistants for one of our lovely paediatric clients in the DE14 area – a young boy living in a loving and welcoming home who requires full support with all of his daily living activities. His package is currently growing, and we are looking for someone to be able to provide care during mornings, evenings, and some nights also. This will allow the client to access transport to attend education, have some meaningful care in the evenings, and provide respite for the family at night
We are really looking for someone with experience in Complex Care (over 6 months) and offer full ongoing training for our successful candidates. Those meeting this criteria will then receive all necessary training from a Regional Nurse and shadowing with an experienced and highly knowledgeable colleague who has worked in the package for some time.
You will need to be a driver with a full licence for the school pickups and travel.

We’re looking for:
19. Paid previous experience as a complex care support worker is essential
20. Excellent communication skills
21. Compassionate and kind individuals
22. A driver’s licence and use of own vehicle for the shifts that require it to drive the client’s vehicle
23. Good professional or personal references
in line with CQC & Care Inspectorate regulations, we require and will undertake Enhanced DBS/PVG, Right to Work, Reference and Employment History checks in line with Government guidelines for this role and safer recruitment best practice.
