Job Title: Contract Electrical Installation Engineer Location: Derby Job Type: Contract minimum 6 months Working hours: standard days Rate: up to £25ph with overtime available AMLR Manufacturing & Engineering recruitment services have partnered with a leading East midlands Aerospace Manufacturer who are seeking a qualified electrical installation engineer to join in their Derbyshire based facility. This is a minimum of 6 months contract. The successful candidate is required to have vast experience in electrical installation. Responsibilities for the electrical installation engineer: * 17th Edition Wiring Regulations * Carry out the installation of electrical wiring into machines, containment, lighting, power distribution, and control systems * Test installed systems to ensure they meet required safety and performance standards. * Complete fault-finding and commissioning of systems where required. * Ensure all installations comply with national regulations (e.g., BS 7671 in the UK). * Adhere to all health and safety procedures and risk assessments on-site. * Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of electrical systems. * Diagnose and repair faults in a timely and safe manner. * Maintain accurate records of work completed, including test certificates, installation reports, and compliance documentation.
