Job Description
Reporting to the VP, Client Management, you will oversee the growth of existing client accounts, implementation of policies and workflows that align with the best interests of the client and agency alike. You'll ensure client satisfaction and the success and longevity of the relationship with your accounts. You'll be influential member of the team and will contribute to the strategic development of the business and deliver new revenue opportunities from your clients.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Demonstrate a solid strategic and executional understanding of your client's business and market within the framework of transcreation and localisation
2. Understand the external influences on your client's business and how the agency can add value
3. Be an important player in strategic discussions on a daily basis, while still looking at the longer term view
4. Identify new client relationships and channels where opportunities may emerge
5. Present Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with important client contacts.
6. Support management of the briefing process, internal quality control, internal resource management, and external client communication - to ensure that the clients' expectations are met
7. Promote Jellyfish's reputation as a business that is a trusted partner, one that uses new technology solutions coupled with the highest quality creative and production
8. Be a primary contact for any client account issues or escalations.
9. Plan and implement approach to introduce clients to Jellyfish services that they may not yet use
10. Identify areas of service improvement, and ensure team adherence to these principles
11. Working with our Client Management team, ensure that agency resources are arranged preemptively to accommodate the changing needs of our clients, and that Jellyfish is perceived as being "best in class" by our customers and partners, and our own team members
12. Responsible for financial forecasting and budget/expense planning, management and reporting
13. Implement optimised processes and ensure ongoing financial oversight of client accounts including accurate estimating, invoicing, monthly reconciliation of jobs, and follow-up reporting
14. Monitor performance to ensure goals are met and report/address any deviation from plan
15. Ensure that assigned accounts achieve their budgeted growth in the forecast year
Qualifications
16. 7+ years of agency, or client-side experience in marketing, advertising or marketing communications
17. Experience working with global brands on transcreation and localisation projects
18. Demonstrated long-term relationships with a large network of partners
19. You'll be comfortable with consultative and organic selling
20. You'll excel at explaining client benefits from all technology in place, and an ongoing understanding of new systems in development that may provide client or workflow benefits
21. You'll lead by example, to ensure effective service delivery, and to provide counsel and support in the development of counterparts and junior team members
22. You'll have be aware of project progress and important deliverable milestones and will ensure all parties expectations are aligned with these
23. You'll be great building relationships, both internally and with clients, to provide direction, information and guidance to ensure that Jellyfish is perceived as a "best in class" production agency
24. You will balance all aspects of the role, with changing client requirements, and provide solutions to the challenges that will inevitably arise
