The role combines structured childcare with nursery runs, alongside proactive household tasks related to the child. The family follows a nurturing, play-based ethos, and seeks someone who can support early learning through Montessori principles, age-appropriate activities, and creative engagement. Key Responsibilities: Morning care routine, including dressing, breakfast, and preparation for nursery Nursery drop-off and pick-up Engaging the child in stimulating, developmental, and play-based learning activities Encouraging independence, confidence, and curiosity Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child Ensuring the child’s areas are organised, clean, and well-presented Proactive duties during nursery hours, including: Child-related admin Batch cooking for the child Tidying and organising toys, clothes, and play areas Supporting the family through occasional proxy parenting (up to two weeks per year) Occasional travel with parents (up to two weeks per year) Providing a safe, warm, and structured environment Candidate Requirements: 3 years' minimum previous experience as a Nanny with children aged 4-7 Strong educational focus with knowledge of Montessori or play-based learning Warm, reliable, and confident in supporting a child’s emotional and cognitive development Able to work independently and take initiative during nursery hours Confident in preparing nutritious meals for young children Open to female or male candidates
