Job Description
* Assist with the production of monthly management accounts.
* Provide financial support and insight to the wider business.
* Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
* Conduct variance analysis and explain key movements.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting exercises.
* Support in the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
* Handle ad-hoc financial queries and projects.
* Maintain a strong relationship with other departments to ensure finances are accurately reported.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
* A strong academic record, including a degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
* Relevant qualifications, such as ACCA or CIMA (part-qualified or fully qualified).
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
