Overview
As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you will be a trusted business partner to stakeholders across the organisation, leading complex sourcing initiatives and ensuring category strategies are effectively executed. With strong autonomy and responsibility, you will manage supplier relationships, negotiate critical contracts, and optimise procurement processes to deliver both cost efficiency and quality outcomes. This position offers exposure to high-impact projects, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to shape sourcing practices in a dynamic international healthcare environment. This is a full-time hybrid role of 37.5 hours, working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
Responsibilities
* Execute category strategies and provide local and regional market insights.
* Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business needs.
* Lead supplier selection, due diligence, and contract negotiations.
* Manage complex sourcing initiatives and champion digital procurement tools.
* Coach and guide sourcing specialists to ensure best practices.
* Conduct detailed analyses, including cost modelling and TCO assessments.
* Ensure complete documentation of sourcing activities, contracts, and pricing data.
* Drive strong risk management, supplier relationships, and adherence to ethical standards.
Qualifications
* You hold a degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field or bring equivalent professional experience.
* You have 5+ years of procurement experience, ideally in healthcare or within an international environment.
* You are skilled in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and stakeholder management.
* You bring strong financial and business acumen and can translate data into actionable strategies.
* You communicate fluently in English.
* You are confident using MS Office; experience with Ariba or other eSourcing tools is an advantage.
* You are flexible and open to occasional business travel.
