We’re looking for a detail-driven Payroll Coordinator to join our high-performing HR Operations team, supporting the delivery of accurate and efficient payroll for all of our employees This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our people are paid correctly and on time, while contributing to a culture of excellence both on and off the track. You’ll work closely with a managed payroll provider and act as a trusted point of contact for payroll and benefits queries, with opportunities to grow your expertise in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. Key Responsibilities Supporting the monthly payroll cycle, including preparing, validating and submitting payroll inputs Administering payroll changes such as new starters, leavers, and contractual updates Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee data with strict confidentiality Performing payroll checks and validations to ensure accuracy and compliance Processing and tracking statutory payments, deductions and adjustments Monitoring payroll deadlines and ensuring all activities are completed on time Acting as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries, providing clear and professional support Supporting employee benefits and pension administration, including salary sacrifice schemes Assisting with payroll compliance, audits, and reporting requirements Acting as deputy to the Payroll Manager when required, ensuring continuity of operations Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Experience supporting UK payroll in a high-volume environment Strong understanding of payroll processes, legislation, and statutory requirements High level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling sensitive data Experience with payroll or HR systems (HiBob experience is a plus) Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities Clear, professional communication skills with a customer-focused approach A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a drive for continuous improvement CIPP qualification (or working towards) or willingness to develop payroll expertise Benefits Investing in your career is paramount.
