Clearfield Recruitment have partnered with one of London's leading Construction organisations, and we’re seeking a Senior Planner to join their team in Cambridge. In this pivotal role, you will provide planning management and support to both pre-contract and contract operations, coordinating with bid and construction teams to ensure the effective delivery of multiple projects. Key Responsibilities of this role will include; Tender Stage: * Develop tender programmes aligned with tender sum, design, and methodology. * Produce and deliver tender documentation as required. * Create integrated tender programmes, covering design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Construction/Delivery Stage: * Develop, manage, and update construction programmes, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders. * Incorporate change events into the programme, working with the commercial team to secure entitlements. * Monitor critical paths, identify pinch points, and propose logic adjustments to optimize project timelines. * Generate earned value analysis data and prepare formal programme updates for customers. * Attend progress meetings and provide comprehensive reports and presentations on project status. * Lead logistics and phasing plans, ensuring alignment with supply chain capabilities. General Responsibilities: * Maintain compliance with our client’s programme management standards. * Support risk management processes and ensure accurate programme risk assessments. * Collaborate with bid teams and supply chains to optimize planning and methods. Qualifications and Experience; * Degree or equivalent in a relevant field. * Extensive experience in programme and project management within construction. * Bid and project planning experience on construction projects. * Proficiency in project management software. * Strong understanding of multi-discipline major projects and the impact of commercial events on programmes. * Demonstrable experience in planning from first principles and managing complex projects. * Track record of performance measurement, continuous improvement, and effective data presentation.
