Amore Complex Care is seeking versatile and flexible support workers to provide cover across a small cluster of closely related services in the Manchester area. Meet the person you'll be supporting:
* Who am I and how old am I? A young male in his 20s.
* Likes: Feeling safe, clear and simple verbal communication, support from 6 staff members, a quiet environment, good communication.
* Dislikes: Feeling excluded, unsafe, left alone, noisy environments, talking without involving him.
* Challenges: Moderate Learning Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Adverse Childhood Experiences, Pervasive Self-injury.
* Aspirations: To feel safe and supported by the staff team.
Team support structure:
* Number of support staff: 6 during the day, 3 at night.
* Shift pattern: 12-hour shifts.
* Training areas: Learning Disabilities, Mandatory training, Medication management, Self-injury (SI) and advanced SI.
The support required is 24/7, offering a variety of shift patterns to accommodate preferences, with some weekend work necessary.
