Job Description:
We are looking for passionate and committed Tutors to provide tailored support and guidance to students with special educational needs in English and Maths at Key Stage 3/4 level. Duties will include creating individualised learning plans, delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with other education professionals to ensure students' academic success.
Required Qualifications / experience:
* Relevant teaching qualification – QTS is desirable.
* A degree in Education or a related field.
* Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEMH, ASD, ADHD, Behaviours that challenge).
* Strong knowledge of the KS3/4 English and Maths curriculum.
Required knowledge and skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Tuition sessions will take place in either the students’ homes or local Community Hubs/Libraries, liaising with parents and other education professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
