Based on sophisticated maths, the software informs the design of high‑value engineering projects and is relied upon by international clients across a range of industries. A well‑designed and robust user interface is an essential component of its success. As the product continues to grow with new capabilities, the company is seeking an experienced software engineer with C# expertise and WPF knowledge to join its growing development team.
Responsibilities
You will be working on visually interesting GUI elements that allow scope for creativity, collaborating with other software engineers and, more broadly, with colleagues from other technical specialties such as mathematical modelling. Due to the high level of reliance that clients place on the software, the company values a thoughtful approach to specifications and a disciplined development process to maintain quality.
Qualifications
* A good degree in a relevant numerate STEM subject from a highly regarded university.
* Substantial experience developing commercial‑grade software in C#.NET.
* Knowledge of using WPF for GUI development.
* An understanding of MVVM or related design patterns.
* Full, existing right to work in the UK without time limit or sponsorship.
