Bring the magic of the season to life We're looking for an experienced Event Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our festive children's immersive maze experience. This exciting, fast-paced role is perfect for someone who thrives under pressure, loves creating memorable moments for families, and can lead a vibrant team with confidence and enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the smooth daily operation of the immersive maze experience.
* Lead and support a team of 7 talented performers, ensuring excellent guest engagement and smooth show flow.
* Manage front-of-house operations, including queue management, ticketing, and guest experience.
* Use and monitor our online booking system to manage guest flow and capacity.
* Handle live updates and guest communication via Facebook and other social channels.
* Maintain excellent radio communication and coordinate effectively with team members throughout the event.
* Troubleshoot issues calmly and efficiently, ensuring a magical and safe experience for all visitors.
* Deliver outstanding customer service with a warm, professional manner.
About You:
* Proven event management experience in a family, entertainment, or live performance setting.
* Confident in front-facing, guest-facing roles with strong interpersonal skills.
* Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities.
* Experienced in team leadership, especially managing performers or event staff.
* Comfortable using online booking/ticketing systems and managing social media (especially Facebook).
* Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
* Confident communicator.
