Our client, a highly specialised engineering company, is looking to strengthen its Sales Team with the appointment of a Technical Sales Engineer. This role is ideally suited to an individual with a strong mechanical engineering background and proven experience in selling complex mechanical systems.
The business is long-established within a niche area of engineering and, following recent investment, is entering a period of significant growth. They are seeking a technically capable and commercially driven individual to develop both new and existing customer relationships. Key Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* A strong mechanical engineering background (essential) – ideally qualified or with equivalent industry experience
* Proven experience in technical sales within a regulated environment
* The ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into engineered solutions
* A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to manage your own sales pipeline and diary
* The ambition to develop your career and contribute ideas to support business growth
The Role
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within target markets
* Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the sales process
* Represent the company in a professional and consultative manner
