Employee Relations Advisor – 12 Month Fixed‑Term Contract (Parental Leave Cover)
About the role: We’re looking for an Employee Relations Advisor to join our team on a 12‑month parental leave cover. Reporting to the Employee Relations Manager, you’ll partner with managers to drive people‑focused practices, manage employee relations cases and support the wider policy and training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a go‑to partner for managers and employees, providing clear, pragmatic advice on investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and performance conversations.
* Partner with managers to navigate complex casework and coach leaders on people management.
* Contribute to policy development, data analysis and reporting to inform decision‑making.
* Support the development of manager capability and the overall employee experience through projects and training initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
* Solid foundation in employee relations (HR Advisor or ER Advisor background) with proven experience managing cases end‑to‑end.
* Strong understanding of employment law and best practice.
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
* Organised, able to handle sensitive situations with discretion and pace.
* Interest in data and analytics; ability to use insights for reporting and improvement.
* Experience in a manufacturing or operational environment is an advantage.
* Desirable: CIPD Level 3 (or working towards).
Working Conditions
* Hybrid role: minimum three days onsite per week in Gaydon.
* Occasional travel across Aston Martin locations required.
* Full UK driving licence essential.
