Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Events & Communications Manager to lead external corporate events supporting our client’s business development efforts, with a focus on increasing brand awareness and reputation in the sector.
The role involves managing event logistics, planning internal engagement events, overseeing budgets, and coordinating with internal teams for effective communication strategies.
Responsibilities
1. Lead planning, coordination, and delivery of monthly events.
2. Manage event logistics including venue bookings, marketing materials, and invoices.
3. Organize internal events like summer parties, including venue sourcing.
4. Prepare and manage budgets for business development events.
5. Serve as the main contact for event-related inquiries.
6. Support event delivery with on-the-day coordination.
7. Evaluate event performance and gather feedback for improvements.
8. Collaborate on developing an external events calendar.
9. Oversee hiring of event personnel as needed.
10. Monitor and assess event success, hosting debriefs and gathering feedback.
Communication Responsibilities
1. Lead communication and marketing strategies for events and projects.
2. Manage event promotion, including invitations and RSVP coordination.
3. Develop sponsorship opportunities and secure sponsors.
4. Ensure messaging alignment across internal teams.
5. Create marketing strategies with the PR & Communications team.
6. Support internal communications and recruitment outreach.
Requirements
* At least 3 years of experience in event management and communications planning.
* Strong logistical and strategic planning skills.
* Ability to work independently and proactively.
Desirable Skills
* Experience in B2B marketing and engagement strategies.
* Leadership experience managing teams or direct reports.
* Proficiency in Zoom Webinar, Salesforce, Canva, or similar tools.
* Experience in agency environments.
