Project Assistant / Document Controller – Construction – Inverurie
Join Kirby Group Engineering in this role to assist the Project Management team and deliver all aspects of Document Control, supporting project compliance and general site administration including procurement and documentation.
Responsibilities
* Maintain document control of project documents.
* Work with the Project Management team to provide administrative support.
* Establish and maintain project compliance with the Kirby way.
* Manage procurement for small miscellaneous items and consumables.
* Keep key project files up-to-date, including risk register, project programmes, drawings and technical information.
* Collate and chase project information, remind team members of key deadlines and assist in ensuring on-time delivery.
* Serve as central point of contact for communication of project progress.
Requirements
* Strong administrative skills.
* Can‑do, proactive approach to project and procurement work.
* Confident phone manner.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Ability to multi-task and juggle priorities.
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
* Preferable experience with document control.
* Preferable previous experience within the construction industry.
